All the World’s a Stage: Paintings by Jeffrey Hammond

3 November – 3 December 2017

A member of The Arts Society Fylde, Jeffrey Hammond is exhibiting at the Fylde Gallery from 3 November until 3 December. Called All the World’s a Stage, this is Jeffrey’s first exhibition.

All the world’s a stage
And all the men and women (merely) players
They have their exits and their entrances
And one man in his time plays many parts

The Rise And Fall Of Empires, by Jeffrey Hammond

From performing on stage himself (he was a founder member of the rock band Jethro Tull), Jeffrey Hammond now uses his paintings as a stage for the crowds of people he paints.

An in-depth interview with Jeffrey Hammond was recently published in Lancashire Life – you can read it here.
