One Drawing at a Time: Salford and Manchester

9 December 2017 – 10 June 2018

Urban Sketching started in Seattle in 2007 to share the world one drawing at a time. Since then it has become a global phenomenon with artists sharing this passion of on-location drawing, not from memory or photograph.

To help celebrate 10 years, this exhibition brings together some of the best local drawings from members of the Manchester group of Urban Sketchers as they tell you their story of Salford and Manchester, one drawing at a time.

Drawing Workshops – Wednesday 9 May, Sunday 20 May & Sunday 27 May, 12:30-3:30pm, £10 + booking fee

Join artist and Urban Sketcher Caroline Johnson in a practical workshop where you will produce work inspired by the building and collections on display. Limited materials will be available. Suitable for ages 16+.
