Anne Schofield
Anne grew up on the other side of the Pennines in Hull and then trained at Goldsmiths College in London specialising in Art and Design.
After marrying Arnold, moving to St Annes, and producing three sons, she went back to teaching, but it was not until retirement that she was really able to develop those early talents and find the time just to “paint for herself”. This has been something that she has found very rewarding and enjoyed ever since.
Belonging to LSA has been a source of much fun and some inspiration; she is a very active member continues to especially love painting people; “doing” sheep! still life subjects, and places that they visit together on their travels in their motor van.
