Arnold Schofield
Arnold qualified as an aeronautical engineer and worked at British Aerospace from 1961-1993 when he retired to paint, amongst other things!
He had always enjoyed art at school,and became interested again taking up membership of the Lytham St Annes Art Society (LSA)
Arnold works almost entirely in watercolour, and his passions are landscapes, both at home and abroad, and buildings, as you can see from this small selection.
He is a keen visitor to art exhibitions and particularly admires the work of two English artists, William Heaton Cooper and Rowland Hilder.
