Latest issue of our newsletter, In the Picture, Spring 2026 available now
Our newsletter, In the Picture, Autumn 2025, was delivered electronically to members at the beginning of October. It can be downloaded here.
As well as our usual items covering recent events, trips, etc we are delighted to include two pieces from members – one from Pat Mobley on her fascinating cultural trip to Cappadocia and another covering an exhibition of 60 years of the costume house Cosprop, by Hilary Cresswell.
There’s also exciting news from Blackpool – the chance to see a rare Monet masterpiece at the Grundy Art Gallery, and Blackpool’s attempts to qualify for the City/Town of Culture. We’ve also included feedback from the The Coastal Community Hub and the Grand Theatre’s Magic & Sparkle project – two initiatives we were able to donate to – towards tickets for local families to attend pantomimes at the Lowther Pavilion and the Grand Theatre.
