Invigilators are required for the next exhibition organised by the Arts Working Group, in which Fylde DFAS works together with the Friends of the Lytham St Annes Art Collection, the Civic Society, Lancashire County Council Museum Service and Fylde Borough Council.

This new exhibition, A Right to Play, runs from 13 December 2012 to 27 January 2013, at the Fylde Gallery, Booths, Lytham. It will feature paintings from the LSA Art Collection, that include children, to commemorate the 65thanniversary of UNICEF.

A meeting has been arranged in the attractive Reception Room at St Annes Town Hall, for both individuals who have invigilated before, together with those who have not but are interested in doing so. The role of the invigilator will be explained
to new recruits, and those who have been invigilators before will be provided with an update of any added security details in view of the unfortunate thefts of two valuable ivories during the Treasures exhibition.

A Certificate of Attendance will be given to everyone who attends the meeting and actively participates in the invigilating rota. This might also be of interest to Sixth Form and undergraduate  students, so if you know of any, please make them aware of it.

If invigilating for A Right to Play, is something that interests you please do get in touch with Margaret Race as soon as possible. Telephone 01253 727268. Email: g.race@virgin.net.
