Sandra Hallergard

Sandra studied Art at Blackpool Technical College for a year, and has attended several art courses over the years including some at Higham Hall and a course in Abstract Art & Mixed Media at Lancaster University. She is also active in the LSAS and is a past president.

She enjoys working and experimenting in different media where she tries to find the essence of her subject and capture a mood or atmosphere. She also experiments with watercolour to see what it can do. She loves it when unpredictable things happen – sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Some of her favourite artists are Klee, Redon, Gaugin and Rothko.
