Threads Through the Bible
16 January – 3 March
Threads through the Bible is a textile art exhibition at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. The show consists of 44 beautiful silk panels re-imagining key sections in the Bible. Each is nearly 3m high – and if they were put side by side they would stretch 100 metres.
It claims to be one of the largest textile art projects, ever and has taken artist Jacqui Parkinson 10 years to complete – and 25 million stitches.
