We are now The Arts Society Fylde!

Fylde DFAS is now known as The Arts Society Fylde. After 50 years, NADFAS (National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies) felt that it needed to evolve to keep up with changing times in order to reach out to more people in more places.

On 17 May at the NADFAS AGM, The Arts Society replaced NADFAS as its operating name. The AGM marked the official launch of the new name and brand, which will be used from hereon-in. A new national website www.theartssociety.org has also been launched.

The Arts Society is keen to roll out the new branding to all societies and following a short Extraordinary General Meeting held before our May lecture, it was overwhelmingly agreed that Fylde DFAS would change its name to The Arts Society Fylde.

As well as a new name, we will also adopt a new logo and other brand preferences as advised by the national body. Making these changes will take time so please bear with us as we adapt and implement these recommended new features. For the moment, our website will keep the usual address fyldedfas.org.uk.
