We are Recruiting a Part-Time Project Co-ordinator (please note this post has now been filled)

Published on 16 June 2013 Under Latest News

Fylde DFAS is looking to recruit a part-time project coordinator, on a consultancy basis, to oversee the ‘Tagging the Treasures’ Lytham St Annes Art Collection project. The two-year project aims to raise awareness about the Lytham St Annes Art Collection. Fylde DFAS will fund the co-ordinator’s role  from a confirmed grant of £24,000, received from the Heritage Lottery Fund. For further information on the award and the project please click here.

The successful candidate will be expected to work largely from home for half a day a week. They will be paid monthly in arrears at the rate of £400 per month. The maximum amount in the budget for the consultancy post is £9,600 over a two year period.

The principle role of the project co-ordinator is to ensure that we meet our digital outputs so we need someone with strong IT skills. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to pull all the volunteer research together into a coherent whole that forms the basis of an online and printed catalogue and a variety of learning materials. We want someone to build a website from scratch and maintain and update it. We are also looking for somebody who is comfortable liaising with volunteers, community groups, and a mixture of public and voluntary sector organisations and willing to work flexibly to help us to meet our overall targets.
