
Stories Brought to Life: National Portrait Gallery Unframed

Stories Brought to Life is an immersive art experience inspired by the National Portrait Gallery, created by FRAMELESS. It highlights the stories behind some of the nation’s favourite portraits, from royalty and cultural icons to leaders and national heroes.
Stories fuse the best of art and technology, with images and animations travelling across specially created frames within a bespoke 10,000sq ft purpose built digital gallery.

Getting there: By Metrolink: The nearest station is MediaCity (1 min walk)
By Bus: There are a number of routes available, including 50 and 29.
By foot or cycling: MediaCity is easy to reach by bike or foot. Located along the Irwell River Park, many routes utilise the Manchester Ship Canal, the River Irwell and the Bridgewater Canal. National Cycle Network (NCN) route 55 runs through MediaCity.
Driving: MediaCity is a two-minute drive from Junctions 2 and 3 on the M602, a 10-15 mins drive away from the Manchester city centre.
