The Judges’ Lodgings Museum

We begin with a tour, with refreshments, of this grade 1 listed museum, the majority of which was constructed in the early 1600s and was the home of the infamous gaoler of the Lancashire witches, Thomas Covell. It contains the world’s largest public collection of furniture by Gillow & Co., contemporaries of Chippendale, mentioned by Jane Austen. Due to the age of the building disabled access is limited. After the tour we depart for a light lunch at Morecambe Golf Club. Lunch options are:

  • Beef lasagne
  • Cajun chicken
  • Spinach & ricotta cannelloni

All served with chips, mixed salad and garlic bread. Tea / coffee.
